David's Dystonia In Action

This is a short video I took of David while he was watching something exciting on the computer. The purpose of the video was to show his doctors at Vanderbilt Medical Center how his dystonia acts when he gets excited. They used it in their meeting to determine whether or not to recommend DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) for him. They recommended it.

  1. David,

We've only met a couple of times. I'm a friend of your mom's and I used to teach your brother, John. (Please say 'hello' to both of them for me.) My daughter, Diana, takes piano from your mom now, so you've met her too.

Diana and I both wish you the best on your upcoming surgery, and we'll be thinking of you often and following your progress on this amazing blog your mom put together.

In the meantime, have a terrific day!

  2. Just got the link from Rachel about David's blog. We are good friends of hers from seminary. I'll be praying for him and his upcoming surgery. Look forward to following the progress over time.
